The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism has published an Order approving the regulations for granting aid to promote entrepreneurship among young people of both sexes, aged 16 to 30, who are neither employed nor in education or training (known as "NEETs"), and who are registered in the National Youth Guarantee System. The Order provides for a grant of €3,000 per beneficiary to cover the costs of the economic activity carried out in the six months following the formal start of the business. The amount may not exceed 75% of the eligible expenses.
We inform you that in the BOE of September 4, and with effects from September 5, Order ICT/816/2020, of August 10, has been published, which establishes the regulatory bases of the aid aimed at promoting entrepreneurship of young people, of both sexes, over 16 years of age and under 30 years of age who do not have any employment or are studying or carrying out any regulated training cycle (known as "ninis"), registered in the File of the National Youth Guarantee System.
Specifically, the purpose of these grants is to enable young people, both male and female, who are not employed or integrated into education or training systems, aged over sixteen and under thirty, to start an entrepreneurial project and generate self-employment.
The EOI Foundation will provide a grant of up to €3,000 per beneficiary to cover the economic activity carried out in the six months following the formal start of the entrepreneurial activity. This amount may not exceed 75% of the eligible expenses.
The subsidy payment is made after justification, at the end of the eligible period, by the beneficiary of the performance of the activity that is the subject of the aid.
are considered eligible expenses and therefore eligible for subsidies, provided they are necessary for the development of the business project: expenses derived from the start-up of a new business project carried out during the first six months of activity, which are linked to it and which may be those described or similar:
- 1. Expenses related to the payment of franchise entry fees.
- 2. External collaborations / consultancies.
- 3. Training programs.
- 4. Business acceleration programs.
- 5. Trade missions, participation in trade fairs.
- 6. Corporate image design.
- 7. Design and development of websites or virtual corporate portals.
- 8. Web positioning.
- 9. Design and development of product and/or service catalogs.
- 10. Development of R&D prototypes (may include materials and consumables necessary for the construction and commissioning of prototypes).
- 11. Investments in patents and utility models. Application fee for registration of a trademark or trade name at the national level with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM). (Only the first trademark and one class). You must provide an official printed copy of the trademark or trade name registration application.
- 12. Company formation expenses.
- 13. Certification of management systems and products: quality, environmental, R&D&I, safety.
- 14. Adaptation and implementation of the regulations on the protection of personal data (LOPD) and adaptation of the website to the law on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSICE).
