The gradual return to economic activity as progress is made in overcoming the health emergency must be carried out with the highest safety guarantees for all citizens. Therefore, the use of personal protective equipment will be mandatory, not only in the short term, but also in the medium term.
We would like to inform you that the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, through the General Secretariat for Industry and SMEs, and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce have launched the information portal http://todosprotegidos.camara.es/
This portal will reflect the supply and demand of protective equipment and supplies (masks, gloves, eye protection, gowns and hydroalcoholic solutions) throughout Spain.
The gradual return to economic activity, as progress is made in overcoming the health emergency, must be carried out with the highest safety guarantees for all citizens. For this reason, the use of personal protective equipment will be mandatory, not only in the short term but also in the medium term. Until now, the production of this equipment was almost entirely outsourced outside of Spain.
This is a situation that must change in the future to ensure the supply of these protective items for the entire population, and particularly for workers.
Through the portal:
- Manufacturing and/or distribution companies may provide information on the products they offer, as well as their production and/or distribution capacity and estimated delivery times.
- For their part, companies requesting these protective elements will be able to report their needs at any time.
Through an interactive map, the portal will offer aggregated information on the number of suppliers and demanders in each of the provinces and autonomous cities.
Companies will also be able to access all the information published by the General Secretariat for Industry and SMEs related to the technical specifications required for the manufacture of personal protective equipment and elements.
