The Spanish State Secretariat for Trade and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce have launched a public call for proposals for grants aimed at local entities to support unique projects focused on modernizing commerce and adapting it to new sales methods, comprehensive renovations, or the integration of technological solutions in municipal markets, among other objectives. The application period is open until September 30, 2020.

We would like to inform you that the State Secretariat for Trade and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce have opened a public call for aid aimed at local entities to promote unique projects that are intended to modernize trade and adapt it to new forms of sales, comprehensive rehabilitation or the incorporation of technological solutions in municipal markets, among other objectives.

These projects are part of the "Retail Competitiveness Support Program 2020" developed jointly by the State Secretariat for Trade and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.

Through these grants, financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the aim is to contribute to improving the competitiveness of trade, strengthening the local commercial fabric and optimizing sales for both through the modernization of commercial equipment.

Projects promoted by autonomous communities, municipalities, provincial councils and island councils, as well as other entities and groups of municipalities included in article 3 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, may be included in this call.
