Entrepreneur vs. Businessman

VS

How many entrepreneurs become business owners?

In the business world—because that's what we talk about on this blog—we often describe people as entrepreneurs or business owners, using those words interchangeably. But they aren't exactly the same.
There are many business owners who aren't entrepreneurs, and conversely, many entrepreneurs who won't become business owners. In between, there's a subset of "Entrepreneur-Business Owners," or vice versa.
An entrepreneur is someone who enthusiastically starts an innovative activity. They are characterized by being passionate, enthusiastic, independent, flexible, visionary, risk-averse, and innovative. They can innovate in products, services, production, organization, etc., and their results often produce a change in the market.
A business owner is someone who drives or manages a company, an organization that provides services for profit. They know how to read the dashboard and make decisions. They lead the company to achieve its objectives, but they aren't necessarily innovative, visionary, or passionate.
We often use the word "entrepreneur" to define a business owner, and we do so because our society often understands entrepreneurship as something positive and sees the business owner as the culprit for all its problems.
To radicalize the discourse; could we say that entrepreneurs are born and businesspeople are made?
I can't say that, but what I can say is that at Àmbit we know how to support both.
