On October 22nd, the presiding judge of the Commercial Court No. 6 of Barcelona signed the judgment approving the Early Agreement Proposal presented by the company Alco Grupo Empresarial, SL., which received the support of more than 80% of the bankruptcy debt.

Alco, the third largest machinery rental company in Spain, has managed in just 10 months to approve an important agreement with its creditors, make serious adjustments to its structure, agree and implement a workforce reduction plan, and transfer one of its business lines.

In the words of its President and CEO, Rafael García , the process of going through bankruptcy proceedings, despite the damage to the company's image and sales, has ultimately proven essential to leave the company in a position to meet the challenges of its Business Plan .

Pau Riera , economist, and Martí Milán , lawyer, both professional partners at AmbitJurídic i Económic, have participated directly in defining the Viability Plan and in negotiating the ERE.
