ICO loan guarantees for self-employed workers and companies in difficulty are renewed and increased.

The Resolution of October 14, 2022, which increases the line of financing guarantees granted to companies and self-employed workers, which is part of the measures included in the Response Plan to the war of Russia in Ukraine approved in Royal Decree-Law 6/2022, has been published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) on October 15.

This is part of the measures included in the Response Plan to the Russian War in Ukraine approved in Royal Decree-Law 6/2022.

The new maximum amounts of limited aid have been set according to the European Temporary Framework:

• 500,000 euros in general
• 62,000 euros per company in the case of primary production of agricultural products and
• 75,000 euros per company active in the fishing and aquaculture sectors.

Among the limitations, it is established that, having 80% coverage, the principal of the guaranteed loan may not exceed 625,000 euros per beneficiary, in general, or 93,750 euros if it concerns companies active in the aquaculture or fishing sector, or 77,500 euros if it concerns companies active in the agricultural sector, in one or more loan operations.
