GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Purpose of the call:
To subsidize the permanent and full-time hiring of people registered in Barcelona belonging to groups with difficulties in entering the labor market or strategic profiles, in order to promote quality employment and business growth.
Budgetary credit: €2,000,000
Entity: Barcelona City Council.
LINES OF ACTION:
- CREA FEINA INCLUSIVA
To hire people:
- In his first occupation.
- Long-term unemployed (minimum 12 months in the last 18).
- At risk of social exclusion, including:
- People with disabilities ≥33%.
- Victims of gender-based or domestic violence.
- Ex-convicts, people with addictions in rehabilitation, migrants, etc.
Limit: maximum 5 subsidized contracts per company in this line.
- CREA FEINA INVESTIGA
To hire PhDs for R&D projects in key sectors:
- Ecological transition.
- Green and digital economy.
- Health.
- Audiovisual industry, etc.
It includes free training courses for researchers on management, leadership, and business skills.
Limit: a maximum of 5 contracts per company in this area.
- CREA FEINA ECONOMIA SOCIAL I D'IMPACTE
For social and impact-driven enterprises (environmental, social, or governance) that incorporate strategic personnel to scale or strengthen their structure. E.g.: project management, innovation, financial development, etc.
Limit: maximum 2 contracts per company in this line.
AMOUNT OF THE DIFFERENT LINES OF GRANT (per contract):
The new activity must necessarily involve the opening of an empty ground floor premises and meet one of the following options:

Contracts must last a minimum of 6 months (inclusive) or 12 months (research/impact).
REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPANIES:
Up to 80% with a maximum grant of €20,000. The applicant must cover the other 20%.
- Having a workplace in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area.
- Be established and have tax registration prior to the contract.
- Increase staffing levels compared to the average of the previous 12 months.
- Not having recently dismissed workers in similar positions.
- Comply with tax and labor obligations.
- Have an Equality Plan if you have ≥50 employees.
- Apply the relevant collective agreement and respect minimum wages:
- CREA FEINA INVESTIGA and SOCIAL ECONOMY: ≥€35,000 gross/year
